I Think These Are Redwoods

A couple of weeks ago we took a wonderful trip to the Redwoods, full of highlights (and a few lowlights).

Lassen Volcanic National Park

Snowball fight on Luke's birthday (August 9th)

Giant pine cones

Hiking

Blood sugar ups and downs

Trees, trees and more trees

4 hour drive on a 125 mile windy and bumpy road

A gray whale sighting

Drive thru tree (although not obvious, definitely a lowlight)

Anytime we saw a big tree, Luke would say "I think these are redwoods" - yes Luke they are redwoods. Luke found a favorite "silly face" pose that he couldn't seem to stop doing and made me laugh every time.
