Dance, Dance, Dance

Libby loves dance! Last school year she took a Creative Dance class at BYU. They focused on many "ways" of dancing - skipping ways, spinning ways, leaping ways. For their final performance, her class performed a "Cowgirl Roundup". I am not sure she ever said a word in her class, just quietly listened to the instructions and then would skip, spin and leap her way around the studio. She didn't have dance class this summer, but instead worked on perfecting her cartwheel.

I can't believe that in a few weeks she will start 1st grade. So far she seems excited about it - we'll see if that lasts. She is quiet and thoughtful, a really good friend and loves to play. For her 6th birthday I took her and her cousin Libby to get their hair and nails done (notice the green nails). Recently she has decided she should do her own hair and has let me know that I don't understand "fashion" if I question what she is wearing. Not a completely untrue observation.

  1. She looks SO cute! Her cartwheel is the best I have ever seen and she is only 6! I miss her. So I was thinking maybe you could send her to come visit us sometime? Seriously :)
