Isaac spent June and July this year playing baseball. A couple of weeks ago his team took 4th in the state tournament. After a nearly two month season (can two months really feel like an eternity?) we are all – Isaac included – glad it is over.
Isaac's baseball career started with tee ball in Havertown, PA. The games seemed to go on forever, but it was a lot of fun. We loved the neighborhood field (Chris’s favorite part was having to take the kids to the bathroom in the bar across the street).

Even though Isaac hasn't developed a love of baseball, I hope he learned about being part of a team and sticking with something. He did discover some different interests this summer. He enjoyed tennis camp, golfing with his dad and reading. He has really excelled at the piano and started the summer with a thrilling rendition of Axel F at our church talent show (without the music, but with dark sunglasses). He has even come to accept that his little brother and sister can be fun to play with - shocking!
I am excited to see what things he discovers next.
