Bon Voyage

For what seems likes years, we have been planning a semester in Paris.  Now, in less than two weeks we will finally be on our way.  We still have LOTS to do to get ready.  We (I)  have lots to be anxious about - not speaking the language; homeschooling a 1st, 4th and 7th grader; feeling some responsibility for 26 college students; lots of travel; long plane rides; navigating the subway with 3 children; and on and on.  But mostly we are excited.

It isn't often that you get to take a few months off from your normal life and experience something out of the ordinary, extraordinary really.

And while this blog has, quite frankly, been a bit of a dud. This will be our main form of communication while we are away.  Even a dud blog with pictures of Europe can't be that bad, right?
