We decided to head back to a few favorite spots on our last weekend in Paris. First we went to Sacre-Coeur and went to the top of the basilica. Have I mentioned that the kids love going to the top of things?!
On our way up.
St. Michael
Then we went to Notre Dame, which is a great excuse to eat in the Latin Quarter. No, not like Latin American (who would ever think that). Latin, as in the common language spoken by people in the middle ages in this area of Paris which is home to a number of Universities.
Another rainy day.
Notre Dame really is amazing. There is no way to show in photographs how big and spectacular it is. You'll just have to go and see for yourself.
It is really hard to be six years old in Paris. Poor Luke realized he had a hole in the bottom of the only pair of shoes he will wear (probably why they have a hole in them). Not fun on a rainy day.
Shawarma I skipped the shawarma and had my favorite Latin Quarter meal, falafel.
So many metro rides. I don't think any of us will miss the metro.
A rainy day view of our apartment.
