Versailles

We had a great trip to Versailles in early October, but thought we would take the opportunity to go one more time.  We skipped the chateau and just walked around the gardens and got to see a few areas we missed the first time.

We got on the train to go home and Chris
got out to get a treat from the vending
machine. 

The kids were worried he was going to miss
the train.  Chris said he would have missed
the train and sat and ate the candy alone rather
than leave the candy in the machine.

This is a small section of the line to get into the chateau.
Rick Steves was right.  Never visit Versailles on a Sunday.

 On our way home we got off the train early so that we could walk by the Eiffel Tower.   It was a beautiful day for pictures.
