South of France (Day 2)

Our time in the South of France included three day trips.  The first was to Les Baux de Provence and Pont du Gard.  Les Baux de Provence is a hilltop medieval fortification built into a bauxite cliff (Baux - bauxite, get it?).  Pont du Gard is a Roman aqueduct built in the 1st century across the Gard River.  It was a cold, windy, and sometimes wet day.  But the sites were great.  I hope to come back to this part of France when it is warmer.  The views from the top of Les Baux de Provence were amazing and I imagine would be even better in the summer.

Luke kept saying "I don't want to die!"  It probably
didn't help that there were these drawings of all
the ways people were killed while trying to get into
the fortification.
