Getting Lost in the Louvre - Day 3

We had one more day to spend in the Louvre and about 10 days worth of things to see.  Chris had a brilliant idea to make BINGO cards for the kids which kept them interested and engaged.  We got about 3 hours out of them.  Not too shabby.

We saw a lot of sculptures, French paintings, Near East antiquities, Napoleon III's apartment, Dutch paintings, and probably a lot more I can't remember.

Working on BINGO.
2500 year old action figures.

The indoor sculpture garden.

A sculpture of a father trying to revive his
baby while the dog licks the baby's feet.
Libby LOVES taking pictures.

The kids had to find a self portrait for BINGO.
We had to tell them it was like a selfie a long time ago.

This guy seems a little too happy to be in our picture.

Hammurabi's Code
The first recorded law.  One said if a child lies to a parent
the child will have their hand cut off.  I like it.

Napoleon III's Apartment

Chris couldn't help himself.  These two ladies were very interesting
The previous day, two Asian women came up and gestured that they wanted a picture with Libby.  We let them take a picture and then one of them went in for a close up of Libby's hair.  Libby was pretty traumatized (she burst into tears).  By the next day she agreed it was funny (although she wouldn't be taking any more pictures), she did let Isaac do a reenactment.

The problem of pickpockets at the Louvre is so bad
that recently the security guards went on strike because
they can't do anything to stop them.
