I realize that sounds weak, but we have also tried macarons, pain au chocoalt, and ice cream. In addition to plenty of cheap treats (by Paris standards) from carrefour.
Do they still have cheap nutella donuts at Carrefour? I love those. Just make sure you don't get apple ones by mistake. Those are gross. (This is Karen C. from the department, by the way. I can't get google to change my name from my middle initial.)
Excellent photo essays. My impressions so far.

Libby: I think you're ready for the high-stakes pétanque games at Jardin du Luxembourg; save your euros and clean the old guys out.
Luke: you're supposed to eat the crêpe, not smear it on your face.
Sarah: As my friend Bob would say, you look mah-velous in Paris.
Chris: give the kids a turn with the boat, sheesh.

Eclair count: 2

ReplyDeleteDon't listen to Karen E. (sure, "C") on food: she goes to McDonald's in France. Get pastries only at bakeries.
